Association for Experiential Education & Viristar Partner on Outdoor Safety Trainings



Viristar is pleased to partner with AEE to bring Risk Management for Outdoor Programs training courses to AEE members at an attractive discount.


The Risk Management for Outdoor Programs certificated training is a 40-hour online course that occurs over four weeks. The rigorous and intensive class is offered each month, and features five live video-conference sessions (generally 90 minutes each), and independent work periods with individual study and small group projects in between.

AEE and Viristar have a history of connection. Jeff Baierlein, Viristar's principal, has been involved with AEE for over 20 years, as a conference presenter, regional treasurer, experiential adventure program accreditation reviewer, and member of AEE's Board of Directors. Viristar's online Risk Management for Outdoor Programs was a very successful and well-enrolled component of AEE's first-ever remote annual conference in 2020, and many other AEE members are expected to find significant value in Viristar's training and consulting services.
