Viristar presents on Safety Culture at AEE NW Regional Conference

Viristar is pleased to collaborate with the Association for Experiential Education to present a workshop on “The Role of Safety Culture in Risk Management of Experiential & Outdoor Programs” at the Association for Experiential Education Northwest Region’s 2021 Regional Conference.

The conference is a virtual event occurring on May 19-23, 2021. Individuals from the experiential education, experiential learning, outdoor adventure education, and related fields are welcome to attend.

Viristar’s safety culture workshop addresses the questions, What is safety culture? How does culture affect risk management in my experiential program? How do I achieve and sustain a positive safety culture?

Viristar’s workshop will look at the origins of the term “safety culture.” Workshop participants will investigate and practice using tools to evaluate the culture in their own organization. And the workshop will cover a change management process that can help build a positive safety culture in your experiential program.
