Transportation to Course Site

If flying to Chiang Mai, fly into the Chiang Mai airport (CNX). From there, the easiest optons to get to the course site (address below) is by taxi or using the Grab app (like Uber/Lyft; grab.com/sg/, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play), which is commonly used in Thailand.

 

Location of the Course

The course will be held at ISDSI, 47 Chotana Rd, Tambon Chang Phueak, Mueng, Chang Wat Chiang Mai 50300, Thailand. The course location can be found on Google Maps by searching for: ISDSI - International Sustainable Development Studies Institute - 47 ถนน โชตนา ตำบล ช้างเผือก Mueng, เชียงใหม่ 50300.  The site is located north of the old city above the superhighway.

 

Accommodations and Dining

There are three very convenient places to stay right next to the training venue which can be booked using agoda.com, booking.com, or by contacting the facility directly. 
    Chang Hotel-- an inexpensive option down the street from the course site.
    B2 Mountain Pano-- a mid-range accommodations right next door to the course site. There are a few B2 locations; be sure to select the Mountain Pano facility when booking.
    Chotana Villa- Just down the street and across the street from the course site, this site is more upscale and has a pool.

 

Numerous other accommodation options are available elsewhere in Chiang Mai.  Expect to spend 30-60 baht each way for local taxi or Grab to areas like Old City or Nimmanheiman Road, which have lots of accommodation and dining options.

 

There are several restaurants for breakfast/dinner and a nearby street market which are in easy walking distance from the course site. Staff can provide specific directions and recommendations during the course.
