Viristar is pleased to share that participants in the Foundations of Adventure Safety course can now earn continuing education units (CEUs) through ACCT International (formerly Association for Challenge Course Technology).
The course has been approved to provide CEUs for both Inspector Certification (ICE) and Operation Reviewers (ORs).
This recognition supports challenge course professionals seeking high-quality professional development that aligns with ACCT certification and maintenance requirements.
Participants who complete Viristar’s Foundations of Adventure Safety course are eligible to receive 6.5 CEUs toward Inspector Certification (ICE) and 8.75 CEUs toward Operation Reviewer (OR) requirements through ACCT International.
These credits contribute to certification maintenance, as in-house inspectors are required to earn 24 CEUs every two years, professional inspectors must earn 32 CEUs every two years, and qualified Operation Reviewers must complete 16 hours of relevant training annually to maintain reviewer status.
