Viristar is pleased to participate in the 2026 Outdoor Forum for South East Asian Schools (OFFSEAS), to be held April 25–26, 2026, at Garden International School in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
As part of its engagement, Viristar will deliver a pre-conference training, facilitate two workshop sessions and be represented in the exhibition hall, contributing to the conference’s mission of promoting and enhancing outdoor learning and education in South East Asian schools.
Pre-Conference Training
Viristar will deliver its Risk Management for Outdoor Programs training as part of the pre-conference program. This comprehensive course provides valuable information for those attending the OFFSEAS conference, equipping participants with essential safety management skills and knowledge.
The course will take place via Viristar’s e-learning platform, with a blend of independent coursework and live video conference sessions.

Conference Workshops
During the main conference, Viristar will lead two workshops designed to help equip participants with useful skills for managing risk and communications in outdoor and adventure programs.
The first workshop, Psychological Risk Management, will introduce core psychological risk management concepts, define psychological safety, explore its connection to equity and inclusion, and outline general principles for supporting psychological safety. Participants will also look at good practice for psychological first response for acute psychological stress incidents.
The second workshop, Crisis Communications for Adventure, Travel and Outdoor Programmes, will explore good practices for effective media relations in a crisis. Attendees can gain practical skills for navigating high-stakes media interactions, and learn where to access further guidance on crisis communications tailored to travel-based, adventure and outdoor programs.
