Viristar Joins Global Adventure Community at Adventure Travel World Summit

Viristar will be participating in the Adventure Travel World Summit (ATWS), taking place September 14-17 in Québec City, Québec, Canada. Annie Linhart, Viristar’s Program Director, will attend the summit, connecting with leaders across the global adventure travel industry and engaging in conversations about the future of adventure travel.

The Adventure Travel World Summit is a leading global gathering for adventure travel professionals, bringing together an estimated 800 tour operators, destination representatives and industry partners from around the world. The event provides an opportunity for the adventure travel community to share knowledge and strengthen partnerships.

Viristar’s participation in ATWS reflects our commitment to advancing safety and quality in outdoor and adventure travel experiences worldwide. As part of this commitment, Viristar became an Industry Partner of the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) in November 2025.

Through this partnership, Viristar joins a network of organizations working to strengthen the adventure travel community through collaboration and education.

“Adventure travel brings people together through exploration, challenge and connection with the natural world,” said Annie Linhart, Program Director at Viristar. “We look forward to engaging with industry colleagues at the Adventure Travel World Summit and contributing to conversations about how organizations can continue to elevate safety and quality across the sector.”

Annie will connect with adventure travel professionals and exchange ideas on emerging industry needs. Her participation also supports Viristar’s efforts to remain connected with the global outdoor and adventure community and ensure that its training, consulting and adventure safety accreditation services continue to address the needs of  adventure, travel, experiential and outdoor programs.

Viristar’s contributions to the adventure tourism industry extend across 85 countries and territories on six continents. By engaging with networks such as ATTA, Viristar continues to improve quality and safety of outdoor and adventure experiences worldwide through expert training and consulting.
