Viristar is pleased to share that Annie Linhart has been promoted to Program Director at Viristar.
This promotion follows nearly four years of dedicated work with Viristar, during which Annie played a key role in the development, delivery and continuous improvement of Viristar’s global risk management training, consulting and accreditation services. Through her work, Annie has helped strengthen program quality, support clients around the world, and advance Viristar’s work to improve quality and safety of outdoor and adventure experiences.
As Program Director, Annie will provide leadership for Viristar’s portfolio of training and consulting services. She will oversee program quality and consistency, support curriculum and resource development, and help guide the growth of Viristar’s programs. She will also continue to cultivate relationships with clients and partners to ensure Viristar’s services remain responsive to the evolving needs of the outdoor, adventure and travel sectors.
Prior to joining Viristar, Annie held instructional and leadership roles in outdoor and experiential education. Her experience includes working with collegiate outdoor programs, nonprofit organizations, Outward Bound California, and the Colorado Outward Bound School. She also served as Assistant Director of a nonprofit outdoor recreation and education center in Northern Michigan.
“Annie brings a rare combination of technical expertise, outdoor industry experience, and instructional leadership,” said Jeff Baierlein, Director of Viristar. “Her deep understanding of outdoor and adventure program operations, commitment to quality, and ability to build strong relationships make her exceptionally well suited for this role. I am excited to see Annie continue to shape and strengthen Viristar’s programs in this new capacity.”
