The course includes the following elements:

• In the ‘Lectures’ section, three video presentations:

  • General Principles (6 minutes)

  • Best Medical Practices (11 minutes)

  • Systems-Informed Response (10 minutes)

• In the ‘Activities’ section:

  • Four question-and-answer discussion forums, to extend and personalize course material

  • A self-assessment checklist outdoor and experiential programs may use to evaluate their pandemic risk management

• In the ‘Assessment’ section:

  • A 10-question quiz to test your knowledge of course content

• Supplementary materials:

  • A PDF version of the text of the lecture presentations is made available as a downloadable reference document

A course completion certificate is issued upon successful completion of the training.
